This year’s Fall Drive first invites you discover Kansas City’s aviation history as we gather at 10am for a guided tour of the TWA Museum located at the downtown airport. You’ll learn about the founding of our hometown airline, and about the early years of commercial aviation.
After our tour, our drive to the Rieger Distillery will have us travel some Kansas City roads you may never have travelled. Our town is changing, and nowhere is this more evident than in our bottom lands. Next, we are on to the Rieger Distillery. This is a wonderful and modern facility housing the distillery, a restaurant, and an outdoor garden. Eat here at your own expense, our guided tour starts at 1:15pm.
Both fees for the the TWA Museum and The Rieger tour will be paid by the Club. If you wish to indulge in a tasting of whisky during the tour, the additional $15 will be at your expense.
